Banish your bad moods in just 15 minutes…..

Our senses react to the environment and situations around us. One word, a smirk, a gesture, a foul odour or something unpalatable can really set our moods off.

Here are some ways we can banish that bad mood in minutes:

1. Breathe. Inhale, exhale. When something is not going right, try to step back and breathe. It allows you to think better. Get enough sleep, and when you wake up give yourself 5 to 10 minutes of quiet and breathing time.

2. Hug therapy. Your cute kids are the best bad mood buster.

3. Beauty rituals. It could be as simple as putting on lip gloss and painting your nails, or getting the works from your favourite salon.

4. Phone a friend. Real friends listen to us vent, whether it’s about your partner, your help, your kids or your crazy deadlines.

5. Nature trip. Go on short out of town tips, if that is where you can have some precious quiet moment to yourself, or bonding time with your family.
